Any woman can be a Goddess. She is the strong, independent woman who#039;s in charge of her own life and does her own thing. She is the leader who takes charge and gets things done. She is the Goddess personified.br /br /This is for all those women who feel they are just average, and have a tough time dating or meeting men, I am just like you, an average woman. When I wake up in the morning with my hair all stuck to my head and no makeup, I am not the raving beauty. But I have learned how to do my own hair and put on makeup like a pro. I have learned a lot from the Goddesses, so I am always prepared to represent them when I go out.br /br /It#039;s not just physical looks, it#039;s more of a combination of things that make a woman attractive to the opposite sex. If you were to poll a group of men as to what makes a woman attractive; their answers might vary a little but they all seem to say the same thing. The most attractive thing about a woman is her confidence. They are drawn to confident women. br /br /I will start out with the basics first, the inner qualities and then move on to the outer qualities. With information on buying and applying makeup, finding stylish clothes for budget beauties, a section for plus size girls fashion (I#039;m a plus size girl too) and all about hair care and styling. So le#039;ts get started:br /br /strongYour Personal Appearance:/strongbr /br /If you were to take the most beautiful celebrities and take away the clothing,makeup and hairstylists, you would find that they are just average looking women like all of us. The only thing that makes them different is that they have learned how to put it all together in an attractive package. br /br /Just like any product on the market, you can take a plain bar of soap (it#039;s just soap, nothing special) with the same ingredients as every other bar of soap, but put it in an attractive, eye-catching package and people will buy it more than other brands because it is appealing to the eye.br /br /Now when it comes to looks, there is no difference. We all have the same facial features. We have 2 eyes, a nose, and a mouth. We#039;re no different from Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, or J-Lo in that respect. But of course we can#039;t all afford to go to professional makeup artists and hairstylists.br /br /Another important point on appearance is clothing and accessories. Now I am a girl on a budget and probably most other women are too, unless you#039;re lucky enough to be rich. You don#039;t have to spend a fortune on clothing to be attractive. You can buy nice, stylish, attractive clothing at budget prices from a lot of places online, much cheaper than going to the local mall. br /br /The important information for you here is; you must make yourself attractive if you want to be attractive. It takes effort to look good. It doesn#039;t always take a lot of money though. If there#039;s anything I have learned from browsing the Internet, it is that everything can be found at a discount. Discount makeup, beauty products, hair care, clothing and shoes. You too can be a Discount Diva like me!br /br /Confidence is the key to being a man-magnet. If you don#039;t have confidence they you need to get some. You need to practice being confident until you can do it automatically. Nobody just wakes up being confident, it takes practice. Just like learning how to flirt also takes some practice until you have the confidence in yourself to try it out.br /br /strongThe Qualities of a Goddess:/strongbr /br /In Greek and Roman mythology, the Goddesses were revered for their many qualities. A Goddess was not only a ruler or authority figure, but she was loved and admired. In every culture, there is a variation on this theme. The Goddesses may have different names, but the qualities that they are known for remain the same. There are far too many to list, but I#039;ll give a few just to give you an idea. You can get a book from the library on the Greek Gods and Goddesses of mythology to find those Goddesses that you identify with. Choose one with the qualities you most admire to represent.br /br /Aphrodite also known as Venus:br /br /The Goddess of love, beauty and fertility. She is probably the most well-known of the Greek Goddesses.brIn ancient times people worshiped Aphrodite and prayed for her help in matters of the heart. Known for passion and sensuality, she is the symbol of love itself.br /br /Athena was a warrior Goddessbr /br /More the career- type woman, she was fiercely independent. She made her own way and fought her own battles. She is symbolic with self-confidence,desire for achievement, social politics, and education. In statues and pictures, she is seen as a young maiden warrior with a sword and shield. She is more the type to avoid marriage and motherhood, choosing to remain single and do her own thing.br /br /Artemis The Hunter also known as Dianabr /br /Artemis is depicted as a young warrior Goddess. The Hunter, armed with bow and arrow, is the protector of young children and animals, and is also seen as the Goddess of Nature. Her concerns would be nature and preserving the environment and community. Forever the wild child. Adventurous, curious and independent.br /br /This is just a short list to show you the qualities possessed by a Goddess. There are a lot more, Celtic Mythology has it#039;s version of the Goddesses too. A few Celtic Goddesses:br /br /Bridget:br /br /Keeper of the flame, she is known as the Goddess of the hearth. She served as midwife and protector of women and children. Associated with ; Fire, fertility, the hearth, all feminine arts and crafts, healing, physicians, agriculture, inspiration, learning, and poetry.br /br /Branwen:br /br /Lady of the Lake. Possibly the keeper of Excalibur.br /br /strongGet out and have a life:/strongbr /br /Get out and do things that you enjoy. Don#039;t always be the homebody. The main point here is you need to have your own life. Or a better way to say it is own your life, don#039;t let it own you. Take control of your life. If you want to go see a movie, invite a friend if you like, but if she can#039;t go be totally prepared to go alone, because you can. Get used to doing things yourself. The Goddesses were women who took charge, and went out there and done what was needed. They didn#039;t sit up there on thrones watching all the action. They led the charge!br /br /A woman who is educated and smart is very attractive to a man. Looks only go so far, you have to have something that can keep his interest. To keep a guys interest, you need to be an interesting person. Being able to talk about anything and have an opinion is a great quality. So read books and magazines and learn as much as possible. Libraries and the Internet are two free resources you can use. br /br /strongLooking your best with makeup:/strongbr /br /Now we are going to get on the subject of makeup, where to buy it cheap and how to put it on. Makeup bargains are everywhere. Personally I like to shop at e.l.f (eyes, lips and face) www.eyeslipsface.combrEverything is a dollar since it was originally designed to be sold in dollar stores. They were turned down so instead they opened their own store and became immensely popular with makeup artists and retail customers. They have a very good selection of makeup brushes. You can buy 1 at a time or a whole set for $12.00.br /br /Another good online resource is Cherry Culture Cosmetics,www.cherryculture.com. It#039;s a little bit more than e.l.f, but still good prices. More like $3-$5.00 each. Another discount makeup company is Rimmel London, Wet-N-Wild, Jane Cosmetics and Cover Girl. These can be found at most drugstores like Walgreen#039;s and CVS and Drugstore.com. Can also go to Rimmel London online.br /br /OK, well now that we have the makeup, we just need to know how to put it on like a pro. This is easy. There are a number of good makeup tutorials on YouTube. One of my favorites is Lauren Luke or Panacea81. She does different makeup looks inspired by Hollywood actresses or celebrities. She#039;s very funny and very real. She does the tutorials step by step so you can follow everything she is doing. You see the whole process from start to finish.br /br /So watch some of the videos and experiment with your makeup. Try out different looks even if you think you wouldn#039;t ever wear it out. You might be surprised and like the look. Just practice with it until you get just the look you want, or have a couple of makeup looks you can choose from.br /br /strongHair Care and Hairstyles:/strongbr /br /Look up videos on YouTube for how-to#039;s on hairstyles and haircuts to flatter your face. And Take good care of your hair. Wash it and condition it to keep it healthy and don#039;t use rubber bands, they break your hair.br /br /strongClothing, Style and Accessories/strong:br /br /OK, here I am going to give you my secret for finding stylish, affordable fashions online. Mall stores are pricey and expensive, and 9 times out of 10 won#039;t have your size. I find this to be my problem. My daughter and I are big girls sized 16-18. We normally shopped at Target and Wal-Mart because the mall stores don#039;t carry clothing in sizes above 14. You might get lucky and find a 16-18 but it#039;s rare.
